In the 5th minute of the match Marques Gorostieta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maureo Lidon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 5th minute, Quin Torrescassana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Foubelo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Foubelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Ceferino Foubelo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ticho Mioño was a little too slow when Xinto Agudo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Furman Armida struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Maureo Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. In the 36th minute of the match Borussia Dortmund got a corner. Jardin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marques Gorostieta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marques Gorostieta made a great header on Borussia Dortmund's corner, it was just that Jardin's Maureo Lidon managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Xinto Agudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ticho Mioño came out of the goal and Xinto Agudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Furman Armida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jardin's Maureo Lidon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furman Armida in the 43rd minute of play forced Jardin's goalkeeper Maureo Lidon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardin's Maureo Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maraman Vozmediana in the 45th minute of play. If Furman Armida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Xinto Agudo made the kick off in the second half. Ticho Mioño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pancho Mandelo in the 54th minute of the match. Maraman Vozmediana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Maureo Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Jardin's Maureo Lidon got control of the ball when Furman Armida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jardin's Maureo Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maraman Vozmediana in the 62nd minute of play. Furman Armida struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Maureo Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. The audience thought a goal was coming when Furman Armida got free with Maureo Lidon in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Maraman Vozmediana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maureo Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Maraman Vozmediana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maureo Lidon was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Furman Armida struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Maureo Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. Borussia Dortmund's Maraman Vozmediana got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceferino Foubelo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maureo Lidon. That made the score 1-2 in the 98 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Borussia Dortmund eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
