Totakoxe Roca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Totakoxe Roca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Candolias, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Saul Vinuesa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pacoya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curuguaty FC the free kick. Saul Vinuesa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Saul Vinuesa got his second yellow card in the match during the 49th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Pacoya getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Saul Vinuesa hit a great ball. Curuguaty FC's Celso Osas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 51st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pacoya. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Iruinea Lebron might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Totakoxe Roca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iruinea Lebron ran back to his position shaking his head. Cordarrel Serna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtsin Ugartondo in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Curuguaty FC got a corner. Pacoya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celso Osas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Remigio Xavier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pacoya's Cordarrel Serna did a great save. Luisito Candolias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Totakoxe Roca having to interfere. If Urtsin Ugartondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Archibaldo Briz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Curuguaty FC's Urtsin Ugartondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cordarrel Serna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luisito Candolias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Totakoxe Roca made a huge save. When Curuguaty FC's Andres Sarralde in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pacoya's goalie prevented a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pacoya fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Curuguaty FC a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celso Osas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pacoya's Cordarrel Serna. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Pacoya's Iruinea Lebron got a free kick in the 98th minute. When Urtsin Ugartondo came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Curuguaty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsin Ugartondo couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Curuguaty FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pacoya had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
