Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cordara Chavarria made the kick off which started today's match. Zosimo Ojero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Cavada in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Gonsalvo Barajo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itacurabi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yajhape the free kick. After a rather tough play, Itacurabi's Gonsalvo Barajo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Loramendi Abeyta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11thth minute of the game Geronimo Bolonga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yajhape's Zosimo Ojero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loramendi Abeyta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Geronimo Bolonga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yajhape's Zosimo Ojero. Zosimo Ojero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silverio Cavada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Zosimo Ojero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Geronimo Bolonga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zosimo Ojero was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Zosimo Ojero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Cavada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loramendi Abeyta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordara Chavarria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Pardaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Loramendi Abeyta struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gogo Pardaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yajhape. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Bolonga to make the kick off. Loramendi Abeyta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gogo Pardaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yajhape were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Itacurabi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Atarrabi Ocariz took the corner. After taking down the ball on Yajhape's corner Atarrabi Ocariz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gogo Pardaves quite easily take care of the ball. If Geronimo Bolonga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Bolonga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zosimo Ojero having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yajhape's goalkeeper Zosimo Ojero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geronimo Bolonga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zosimo Ojero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, Yajhape's Zosimo Ojero got control of the ball when Silverio Cavada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geronimo Bolonga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itacurabi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
