Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Loreto's Sauveur Cia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Loreto's Izel Gacel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Loreto from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Furtado Minjaraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Ali was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Firmin Dueñas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frasco Mendiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furtado Minjaraz in the 16th minute of play. If Oscar Aranguren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Guanes FC's Meendez Murguiondo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Frasco Mendiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sauveur Cia in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sauveur Cia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frasco Mendiola was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Frasco Mendiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Furtado Minjaraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Loreto's goalkeeper Izel Gacel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guanes FC's zone, Furtado Minjaraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frasco Mendiola came out of the goal and Furtado Minjaraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Igor Remesal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sauveur Cia in the 45th minute of play forced Guanes FC's goalkeeper Frasco Mendiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Guanes FC's Oscar Aranguren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izel Gacel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mark Baraña made the kick off in the second half. Izel Gacel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Aranguren in the 54th minute of the match. Frasco Mendiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sauveur Cia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes, Igor Remesal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guanes FC and the Loreto players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guanes FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Igor Remesal hit a great ball. Izel Gacel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Remesal in the 82nd minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Loreto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Loreto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
