In the 14th minute Elizardo Callon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basajaun Antuñano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manex Azua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jaunzuria Aras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Muno Erran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caballern's zone, Ignacio Robles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaunzuria Aras came out of the goal and Ignacio Robles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Caballern getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Veremundo Piedra hit a great ball. Jaunzuria Aras acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Blasco Labiada.

When Muno Erran came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Caballern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muno Erran couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Muno Erran could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Basajaun Antuñano however easily saved by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, Curupaity AFC's goalkeeper Basajaun Antuñano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muno Erran. Xofre Llaria got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Xofre Llaria hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Ekain Elola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caballern's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curupaity AFC the free kick. Curupaity AFC's Manex Azua got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curupaity AFC's Basajaun Antuñano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Curupaity AFC from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Curupaity AFC's goalkeeper Basajaun Antuñano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muno Erran. Jaunzuria Aras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manex Azua in the 73rd minute of play. Manex Azua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Manex Azua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curupaity AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manex Azua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaunzuria Aras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caballern's Muno Erran got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caballern's Rameriz Candina got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muno Erran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basajaun Antuñano having to interfere. Caballern's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
