In the 13th minute, one of Edelira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edelira. Eladio Almiron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Prat having to interfere. Gaitano Doblas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bingen Pereta in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Edelira's Neron Arona got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 35th minute, Bingen Pereta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edelira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Feliu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Prat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Ballin in the 51st minute of the match. Gaitano Doblas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Xizavier Lizaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Prat having to interfere. Neron Arona charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neron Arona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bingen Pereta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Talavera AFC's zone, Bingen Pereta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaitano Doblas came out of the goal and Bingen Pereta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baiona Ronquillo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Cristian Prat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talavera AFC. After 95 played minutes, Talavera AFC's Mariano Bernabe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristian Prat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talavera AFC reached it. When Teobaldo Feliu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Edelira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Feliu couldn't finish the play.
