Arecutacue AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sotera the free kick. After 3 played minutes Arecutacue AFC got a freekick which was hit by Neron Riba. Cresencio Herias was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pascoal Fontiveros. After some careless play in the Arecutacue AFC defense, Hartz Agrelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cresencio Herias. The Arecutacue AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cresencio Herias should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute, Hartz Agrelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manu Valero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cresencio Herias. Arecutacue AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mitxaut Armental fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Lucero having to interfere. Bonifaco Cardon scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Lucero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Zornin Tornamira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 32nd minute of the match Neron Riba completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Neron Riba a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 32 minutes into the game, one of Arecutacue AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bizi Pedreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mitxaut Armental was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Arecutacue AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifaco Cardon. The supporters of Sotera booed when Arecutacue AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vistruario Villapun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bizi Pedreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Mitxaut Armental hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Sotera's goalkeeper Benicio Lucero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitxaut Armental. The audience was convinced that Hartz Agrelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cresencio Herias was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Milio Rujido's late challenge caught a Sotera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milio Rujido helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arecutacue AFC's Milio Rujido got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Hartz Agrelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cresencio Herias having to interfere. Arecutacue AFC's Cresencio Herias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bizi Pedreira in the 89th minute of play. Hartz Agrelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cresencio Herias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
