Kendal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Audivert FC the free kick. Bazkoare Cotera hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Bidun Santervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Audivert FC's Serafin Aniego got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bidun Santervas in the 23rd minute of play forced Audivert FC's goalkeeper Beat Neyda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Kendal FC got a freekick which was hit by Cerilo Velunza. Gentza Corel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rafael Idalgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kendal FC booed when Audivert FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estavan Almirall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Audivert FC's Beat Neyda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bidun Santervas in the 36th minute of play. Luken Garmendia struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Beat Neyda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kendal FC. 41 minutes into the game, Cerilo Velunza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Beat Neyda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After recieving a nice pass, Kendal FC's Chaime Bares tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half Kendal FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luken Garmendia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bidun Santervas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beat Neyda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. With 54 minutes on the clock, Xose Albalate commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Audivert FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! After having played for 60 minutes, Horacio Urbieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Audivert FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Urbieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Audivert FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Serafin Aniego hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Beat Neyda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luken Garmendia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Beat Neyda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beat Neyda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luken Garmendia, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asur Varandalla in the 74th minute of play forced Kendal FC's goalkeeper Rafael Idalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Audivert FC were awarded a corner. Estavan Almirall went to the cornerflag to take it. Audivert FC's Estavan Almirall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafael Idalgo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Urbieta in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Idalgo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Kendal FC booed when Audivert FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asur Varandalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bidun Santervas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Beat Neyda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luken Garmendia in the 97th minute of play forced Audivert FC's goalkeeper Beat Neyda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beat Neyda made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Bidun Santervas sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Kendal FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Audivert FC throughout the match.
