Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Olayo Rotaetamorga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Guillerme Muñana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 8 minutes, Cordarell Carrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquirenda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordarell Carrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Piquirenda's zone, Guillerme Muñana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrold Entrambasaguas came out of the goal and Guillerme Muñana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Naranjal's goal looked a bit too open when Itzaina Candamo came free, but Txeru Dueñas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Piquirenda's goal looked a bit too open when Olayo Rotaetamorga came free, but Jerrold Entrambasaguas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naranjal's Olayo Rotaetamorga got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naranjal's Txeru Dueñas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarell Carrero in the 33rd minute of play. Olayo Rotaetamorga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerrold Entrambasaguas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Txeru Dueñas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Itzaina Candamo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincente Sarria's late challenge caught a Piquirenda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincente Sarria helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Naranjal getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Vincente Sarria hit a great ball. Cordarell Carrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txeru Dueñas having to interfere. Cordarell Carrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Txeru Dueñas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cordarell Carrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerrold Entrambasaguas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillerme Muñana in the 52nd minute of the match. Guillerme Muñana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jerrold Entrambasaguas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ramiro Momparte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Olayo Rotaetamorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Entrambasaguas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olayo Rotaetamorga in the 63rd minute of the match. Ramiro Momparte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Piquirenda's Cordarell Carrero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Txeru Dueñas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillerme Muñana struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jerrold Entrambasaguas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillerme Muñana in the 74th minute of play forced Piquirenda's goalkeeper Jerrold Entrambasaguas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Guillerme Muñana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naranjal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillerme Muñana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Txeru Dueñas managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Piquirenda's Cordarell Carrero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Guillerme Muñana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Entrambasaguas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olayo Rotaetamorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes Piquirenda got a freekick which was hit by Rafel Morillas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillerme Muñana in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerrold Entrambasaguas saved Piquirenda from getting behind. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 96th minute, but Txeru Dueñas got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Naranjal hanging dry this time. The Piquirenda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Piquirenda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
