Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Severo Palomeque started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Curunai:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Desmochados FC:s goal. The referee gave Desmochados FC a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bernaldo Urraburu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curunai's Maurilio Breton. 0-1. If Severo Palomeque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Palomeque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Maurilio Breton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ikatz Paul's late challenge caught a Curunai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ikatz Paul helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Desmochados FC's Ikatz Paul got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Desmochados FC's zone, Intxixu Santotis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Hoa came out of the goal and Intxixu Santotis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severo Palomeque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurilio Breton having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Desmochados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Intxixu Santotis came free, but Teodosio Hoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Desmochados FC booed when Curunai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Carlos Llago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After having played for 58 minutes, Intxixu Santotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curunai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Intxixu Santotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Intxixu Santotis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Hoa was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Severo Palomeque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severo Palomeque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Hoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sein Ballin in the 74th minute of the match. Intxixu Santotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Hoa having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Sein Ballin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curunai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sein Ballin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Tiniebra Brau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurilio Breton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Tiniebra Brau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiniebra Brau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Palomeque in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurilio Breton saved Curunai from getting behind.
