Veronica Maxenchs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orzaize Bribiesca in the 8th minute of the match. Endura Maltrana hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ospetsu Marine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oier Odon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Crispo Siruendo made a huge save. Oier Odon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Crispo Siruendo 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vergaray Urroz during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alurralde AFC booed when Villanueva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vergaray Urroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veronica Maxenchs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orzaize Bribiesca's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Omaña during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Cleto Omaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Villanueva got a freekick which was hit by Ospetsu Marine. 30 minutes into the match, Villanueva's goal looked a bit too open when Orzaize Bribiesca came free, but Veronica Maxenchs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veronica Maxenchs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perutxo Servicial, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Alurralde AFC's Orzaize Bribiesca got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Perutxo Servicial cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Veronica Maxenchs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Villanueva booed when Alurralde AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Omaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Villanueva defense, Pellas Alvisto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Veronica Maxenchs. The Villanueva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veronica Maxenchs should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perutxo Servicial to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Alurralde AFC's Perutxo Servicial ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Veronica Maxenchs. Veronica Maxenchs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 65 minutes into the match, Villanueva's goalkeeper Veronica Maxenchs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orzaize Bribiesca. In the 67th minute, Orzaize Bribiesca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harkaitz Cabrales during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oier Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crispo Siruendo having to interfere. If Orzaize Bribiesca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Alurralde AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Guilherme Temporal hit a great ball. Crispo Siruendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ospetsu Marine, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Villanueva were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Alurralde AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lapurdi Tarazona took the corner. In the 88th minute, Ospetsu Marine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villanueva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Endura Maltrana hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alurralde AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
