The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Salvador AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilesindo Condal. After 12 minutes of play, Salvador AFC's Umea Narria made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Pumar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saverio Olave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Zigor Carreño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vergaray Llamosas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Xavian Zuriarrain charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavian Zuriarrain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xavian Zuriarrain kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Aluralde AFC defense, Umea Narria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Pumar. The Aluralde AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Pumar should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gregory Guren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salvador AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Guren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Pumar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Salvador AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umea Narria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vergaray Llamosas took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zigor Carreño. Zigor Carreño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salvador AFC's goalkeeper Zigor Carreño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Salvador AFC's zone, Vergaray Llamosas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zigor Carreño came out of the goal and Vergaray Llamosas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Saverio Olave got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Umea Narria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Saverio Olave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Gregory Guren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Amadeo Pumar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saverio Olave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigor Carreño having to interfere. Aluralde AFC's Amadeo Pumar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Aluralde AFC from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Aluralde AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Cordova came free, but Amadeo Pumar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Salvador AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
