Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vidal Arzube kicked off to start the match. Gipuzkoa Villafana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Patricio Apellaniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gipuzkoa Villafana scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Apellaniz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ybytymi FC's Vidal Arzube slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Aedo. That made the score 1-1 after 10 minutes of play. Vidal Arzube's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Aedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Gipuzkoa Villafana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gipuzkoa Villafana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gipuzkoa Villafana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Patricio Apellaniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xepe Hermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Apellaniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xepe Hermo ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 24 minutes, Gipuzkoa Villafana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gipuzkoa Villafana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Xepe Hermo hit a great ball. Manuel Aedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidal Arzube in the 35th minute of play. Vidal Arzube received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Manuel Aedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Vidal Arzube stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Aedo came out of the goal and Vidal Arzube tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Arzube came free, but Manuel Aedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gipuzkoa Villafana was the one to do the kick off. Ybytymi FC's Patricio Apellaniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 54th minute of play. Manuel Aedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidal Arzube in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Frechoso Randoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Manuel Aedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reno Bultes during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Ybytymi FC got a freekick which was hit by Reno Bultes. Ybytymi FC's Patricio Apellaniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Achutegui in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Vidal Arzube got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xepe Hermo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Segundo Verde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Manuel Aedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gipuzkoa Villafana to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Frechoso Randoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ybytymi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ybytymi FC could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
