Pablo Montoya's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Gervasio Tejeda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Albam in the 12th minute of play forced Baoruco's goalkeeper Gervasio Tejeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eude Carrizo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcio Herrera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eude Carrizo in the 26th minute of play forced Constanza's goalkeeper Marcio Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Montoya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gervasio Tejeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Montoya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Tejeda having to interfere. Arturo Burton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Manny Cedeño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baoruco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Constanza the free kick. A collision led to Baoruco getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Arturo Burton hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Paulo Lozano hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Baoruco got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Corrales . Gervasio Tejeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Eude Carrizo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcio Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Constanza's Iván Peralta got a free kick in the 79th minute. Constanza's Marcio Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eude Carrizo in the 83rd minute of play. Eude Carrizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eude Carrizo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Eude Carrizo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcio Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eude Carrizo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ariel Cox fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Constanza's protests and gave Ariel Cox a yellow card for diving instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
