Pizarrete CD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklyn Howard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benigno Vera hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Carlitos Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juncalito and the Pizarrete CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pizarrete CD booed when Juncalito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlitos Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Bermúdez in the 58th minute of play forced Juncalito's goalkeeper Eleoncio Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Espinal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Amancio Valdivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleoncio Guerra having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Amancio Valdivia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pizarrete CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Valdivia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
