Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ceferino Graham started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Cevicos UF's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Lugo came free, but Rafael Trujillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ciro Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barahona's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Trujillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute Rubén Lugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Trujillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ceferino Graham took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Emanuel Almaguer to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Lugo in the 14th minute of play forced Cevicos UF's goalkeeper Rafael Trujillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cevicos UF's Eduardo Casas got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Ciro Pinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Trujillo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, one of Barahona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cevicos UF a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Norman Matheus, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barahona's Emanuel Almaguer. 2-0. If Ciro Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Trujillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Pinto's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ciro Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rafael Trujillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Ojeda struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rafael Trujillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barahona. Rafael Trujillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Ceferino Graham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Almaguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Eduardo Casas charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Casas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cevicos UF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eduardo Casas hit a great ball. Chus Carbajal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paulo Barreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Almaguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Graham in the 61st minute of the match. In the 69th minute Paulo Barreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Almaguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Pinto succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Rubén Lugo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes Barahona got a freekick which was hit by Benito Toledo. Barahona's Benito Toledo got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Benito Toledo off the ground. After a rather tough play, Barahona's Benito Toledo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cevicos UF's Norman Matheus tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ceferino Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barahona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cevicos UF.
