Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, ESAB 96 FC's Ronny Prieto got a free kick in the 5th minute. Gonzalo Cruz scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Caballero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Caballero was a little too slow when Leonardo Montañas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Fidel Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Montañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Caballero having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, ESAB 96 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Abbott to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Montañas struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fidel Caballero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pinar. After 23 minutes, Manuel Bustamante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESAB 96 FC and the El Pinar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in ESAB 96 FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! After having played for 29 minutes, Gonzalo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pinar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Gonzalo Cruz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fidel Caballero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes in the game, Leonardo Montañas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fidel Caballero having to interfere. If Salvador Carrizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Pinar's Roque Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Prieto in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to ESAB 96 FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ronny Prieto hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Bustamante to make the kick off. Blas Rojas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Cardozo. El Pinar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute, Gonzalo Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Montañas in the 66th minute of play forced ESAB 96 FC's goalkeeper Fidel Caballero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ESAB 96 FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ronny Prieto hit a great ball. Blas Rojas charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Rojas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fidel Caballero went to the wrong direction when Wilkin Salazar was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. ESAB 96 FC's Fidel Caballero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Cruz in the 87th minute of play. Roque Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Carrizo in the 89th minute. Manuel Bustamante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Cruz in the 94th minute of the match. When Gonzalo Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the El Pinar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Cruz couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the ESAB 96 FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Pinar.
