The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Timo Apolonario notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Guayabal's Severino Apolonario. Severino Apolonario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raimundo Fierro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mendy Franco in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck James Arbizu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ángel Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Severino Apolonario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Las Casas AF's Alejandro Cáceres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Apolonario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Fierro got free with James Arbizu in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 minutes, Ángel Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Casas AF and the Guayabal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Mendy Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but James Arbizu was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejandro Cáceres made a kick off. Severino Apolonario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Cáceres in the 53rd minute of play. Mendy Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anselmo Negredo lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Las Casas AF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Andy Nolasco walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Las Casas AF's James Arbizu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mendy Franco in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Guayabal's Raimundo Fierro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that James Arbizu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Virgilio Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Cruz in the 78th minute of play forced Las Casas AF's goalkeeper James Arbizu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Arbizu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mendy Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Virgilio Covarrubias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guayabal and the Las Casas AF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severino Apolonario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Apolonario in the 87th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Cruz during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Domingo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Timo Apolonario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Casas AF's supporters rose to their feet, but Timo Apolonario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Apolonario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the match, Mendy Franco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of James Arbizu. Las Casas AF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mendy Franco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Las Casas AF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
