Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Palacios started the match with the kick off. Lucio Crispín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Roberto Benavides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Santiago's zone, Roberto Benavides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jules Torres came out of the goal and Roberto Benavides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 minutes of play, CAIM FC's Roberto Benavides made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jules Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 minutes, Gonzalo Barrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Santiago and the CAIM FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Amando Cervantes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CAIM FC's Ruben Ureña didn't even have to move. In the 37th minute, Daniel Palacios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jules Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, CAIM FC's goalkeeper Ruben Ureña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Crispín. 46 minutes into the match, Atlético Santiago's Lucio Crispín sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Ureña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half CAIM FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lucio Crispín made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Atlético Santiago got a freekick which was hit by Alexi Bartlett. In the 61st match minute, CAIM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Canal to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Benavides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jules Torres made a huge save. In the 68th minute, CAIM FC's Roberto Benavides ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jules Torres. Jules Torres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Roberto Benavides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Palacios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Torres having to interfere. Jules Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Benavides in the 78th minute. Roberto Benavides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Benavides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jules Torres made a huge save. Roberto Benavides struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jules Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAIM FC. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind CAIM FC's goalkeeper Ruben Ureña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
