Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan José Treviño got the match started through his kick off. William Maldonado hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, World Class's Juan José Treviño ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erick Jara. Erick Jara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Juan José Treviño managed to get in a good position for a shot. World Class's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan José Treviño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erick Jara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan José Treviño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Erick Jara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cotuí's Erick Jara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cotuí from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute of the match, Juan José Treviño tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erick Jara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Rolando Riojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jhonny Trujillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cotuí getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tilson Nava hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, World Class's Teobaldo Fuentes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rob Melgar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erick Jara firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 38 played minutes Cotuí got a freekick which was hit by Jhonny Trujillo. A hard shot 42 in the game by Rob Melgar from a close distance when the talented Erick Jara managed to make a qualified save. Cotuí's players were relieved. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jhonny Trujillo made a kick off. Rob Melgar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Erick Jara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Cotuí's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Melgar came free, but Erick Jara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cotuí's William Maldonado got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered William Maldonado off the ground. In the 69th match minute, Cotuí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes, World Class's Teobaldo Fuentes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erick Jara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in World Class reached it. Erick Jara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan José Treviño in the 71st minute of the match. When Rob Melgar came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the World Class fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rob Melgar couldn't finish the play. Jhonny Trujillo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Juan José Treviño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Erick Jara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Juan José Treviño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erick Jara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jhonny Trujillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rob Melgar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Erick Jara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cotuí players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for World Class.
