The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rabah Bensaoula made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Abderrachid Mammeri sent off a good shot on target. Mohammed Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rabah Bensaoula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Abdelhani Amara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crump AFC and the Gas City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdelhani Amara hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Mimoun Ouid Toumi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crump AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gas City the free kick. The supporters of Gas City booed when Crump AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mimoun Ouid Toumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Gas City's goal looked a bit too open when Ismaël Mamouni came free, but Fawzi Azem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gas City's Mohammed Abbas in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 46th minute Mohammed Abbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Bensaoula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Abdelnasser Zaaf made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Crump AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nouara Benyamina came free, but Rabah Bensaoula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gas City's Abderrachid Mammeri got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohammed Abbas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fawzi Azem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelnasser Zaaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82nd play minute Ismaël Mamouni came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fawzi Azem. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Crump AFC's Abdelhani Amara got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Gas City's Chaba Chebal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Mohammed Abbas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rabah Bensaoula was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Mohammed Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
