Karim Benbitour came out of the goal and Belaid Bouazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abd al-Asis Hammad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karim Benbitour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belaid Bouazza in the 13th minute of play. Camel Benhamou hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With his leg Bouzid Sadmi managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Shawnee's Abdel Madjer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Abd al-Asis Hammad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Abdel Madjer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Abd al-Asis Hammad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karim Benbitour was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, Shawnee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Fellahi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Antoine Oussar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glen Burnie AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoine Oussar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Benbitour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abd al-Asis Hammad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Abdel Madjer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shawnee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdel Madjer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes Shawnee got a freekick which was hit by Camel Benhamou. If Abd al-Asis Hammad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Ziani hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Abdelaziz Asma struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Bouzid Sadmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shawnee. Glen Burnie AFC's Bouzid Sadmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Madjer in the 87th minute of play.
