If Tedj Boutabout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Aziz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Aboulker in the 22nd minute of the match. If Mehdi Aboulker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mahmoud Mamouni came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Hampton fans jumped to their feet. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mahmoud Mamouni made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Village's goal looked a bit too open when Mahmoud Mamouni came free, but Lakhdar Amri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahmoud Mamouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Village's Rabah Hadjadj got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ali Aziz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hemza Brahami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chadli Dahleb's late challenge caught a Village's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chadli Dahleb helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Village booed when Hampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chadli Dahleb didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Hemza Brahami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Aziz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hampton walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
