The corner led Smith's Lakhdar Saadane to fire away a dangerous shot which Mohamed Ouyahia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abdelhamid Ramdani struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hicham Raho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Destrehan. Rachid Saadane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Rachid Saadane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Ouyahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Destrehan's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Saadane came free, but Mohamed Ouyahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tayeb Douibi hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Mohamed Ouyahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Saadane in the 29th minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Ahmed Lelouch elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Mohammed Zeghdoud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Destrehan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smith the free kick. After 38 played minutes Destrehan got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Zeghdoud.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmed Lelouch to make the kick off. If Ahmed Lelouch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelhamid Ramdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Smith's zone, Ahmed Lelouch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hicham Raho came out of the goal and Ahmed Lelouch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hachemi Meskine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tayeb Douibi charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tayeb Douibi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Destrehan getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tayeb Douibi hit a great ball. René Khabatou charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Destrehan's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhamid Ramdani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hicham Raho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohammed Zeghdoud in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hicham Raho saved Smith from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Smith's goalkeeper Hicham Raho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdelhamid Ramdani. If Rachid Saadane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohamed Ouyahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Saadane in the 85th minute of play. Abdelhamid Ramdani's late challenge caught a Smith's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelhamid Ramdani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Destrehan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhamid Ramdani to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th match minute, Smith was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakhdar Saadane to maneuver through the defense. In the 94thth minute of the game Rachid Saadane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Destrehan's Mohamed Ouyahia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Abdelhamid Ramdani made a precise shot to the right of Hicham Raho. Smith's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Smith supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Destrehan's performance. The match ended with a win for Destrehan.
