In the 10th match minute, Plantation Key AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hameur Haddadj to maneuver through the defense. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Plantation Key AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehdi Camus came free, but Hamza Djamel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Hicham Firoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Plantation Key AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nassim Boulebda to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Plantation Key AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehdi Camus came free, but Hamza Djamel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Tayeb Badis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mouloud Aboulker. Tayeb Badis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After having played for 45 minutes, Mustapha Cerbah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Freehold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustapha Cerbah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdel Hamid Belkhadem made a kick off. East Freehold's Abdel Hamid Belkhadem got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamza Djamel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billel Banouas in the 55th minute of play. If Abdel Hamid Belkhadem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hicham Firoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hameur Haddadj kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, East Freehold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Larbes to maneuver through the defense. Antoine Malek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mouloud Aboulker. East Freehold's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Hicham Firoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Freehold's supporters rose to their feet, but Hicham Firoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamza Djamel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Madjid Mekhloufi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouloud Aboulker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamza Djamel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdel Hamid Belkhadem's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Hamza Djamel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdel Hamid Belkhadem in the 74th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Rachid Morceli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamza Djamel. Plantation Key AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rachid Morceli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Morceli in the 89th minute of play forced Plantation Key AFC's goalkeeper Hamza Djamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Plantation Key AFC's goalkeeper Hamza Djamel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdel Hamid Belkhadem. When the match was over East Freehold could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Plantation Key AFC throughout the match.
