Hamza Djamel made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Mouloud Aboulker sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Dearborn's goal looked a bit too open when Madjid Mekhloufi came free, but Jean Firoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mouloud Aboulker succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 37th playminute. In the 45th minute, Tayeb Badis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean Firoud was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tayeb Badis to strike the kick off in the second half. Madjid Mekhloufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Plantation Key AFC's Hameur Haddadj got a free kick in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dearborn had won after a very even match.
