Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ali Ben Khalidi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Ben Khalidi in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafik Zoheir Hamid saved Wrightsville FC from getting behind. In the 6th minute of the match, Soltani Sofiane got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafik Zoheir Hamid was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rafik Zoheir Hamid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelmalek Deghmani, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Cheikha Bouchemla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hameur Boniche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Derry AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mimoun Ziani came free, but Hameur Boniche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafik Zoheir Hamid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamid Achiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cheikha Bouchemla took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hameur Boniche. Hameur Boniche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Derry AFC booed when Wrightsville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mimoun Ziani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Ali Ben Khalidi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derry AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rafik Zoheir Hamid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamid Achiou in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes, Cheikha Kensi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derry AFC and the Wrightsville FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Derry AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cheikha Kensi.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toufik Massi to make the kick off. Wrightsville FC's Rafik Zoheir Hamid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fateh Messaoudi in the 52nd minute of play. Rafik Zoheir Hamid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Achiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Cheikha Kensi made a precise shot to the right of Rafik Zoheir Hamid. Wrightsville FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelmalek Deghmani in the 64th minute of play forced Wrightsville FC's goalkeeper Rafik Zoheir Hamid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafik Zoheir Hamid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Achiou in the 66th minute of the match. When Toufik Massi came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Wrightsville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toufik Massi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Derry AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Abdelmalek Deghmani hit a great ball. Wrightsville FC's Rafik Zoheir Hamid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Achiou in the 73rd minute of play. Toufik Massi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hameur Boniche having to interfere. The Derry AFC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Derry AFC's Fateh Messaoudi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th minute of the match, Cheikha Bouchemla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hameur Boniche was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 88th minute Hamid Achiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafik Zoheir Hamid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Ben Khalidi in the 90th minute of play forced Wrightsville FC's goalkeeper Rafik Zoheir Hamid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fateh Messaoudi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Rafik Zoheir Hamid came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Derry AFC's Ali Ben Khalidi. But to his dismay, Ali Ben Khalidi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. There was no doubt that Derry AFC were the better team. Derry AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
