An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Chaba Bouteflika got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tedj Bouguerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Nordine Azzizi-Kettab made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Hadjadj in the 18th minute of play forced West Odessa's goalkeeper Fawzi Boulmerka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rachid Bentifour charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rachid Bentifour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kendall AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rachid Bentifour hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, West Odessa's Nordine Azzizi-Kettab threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tedj Bouguerra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th minute Tedj Bouguerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nordine Azzizi-Kettab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tedj Bouguerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nordine Azzizi-Kettab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tedj Bouguerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nordine Azzizi-Kettab having to interfere. Nordine Azzizi-Kettab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chaba Bouteflika in the 35th minute. When Tedj Bouguerra came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the West Odessa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tedj Bouguerra couldn't finish the play. Chaba Bouteflika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohammed Ahmed Ben Zaoui during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Tedj Bouguerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nordine Azzizi-Kettab was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rachid Bentifour was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 62nd match minute, Kendall AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Bentifour to maneuver through the defense. If Chaba Bouteflika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farès Chebal hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Fawzi Boulmerka acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ismaël Abbas. Dida Hadjadj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzi Boulmerka having to interfere. Fawzi Boulmerka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Hadjadj, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Amar Belmadi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tedj Bouguerra in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nordine Azzizi-Kettab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nordine Azzizi-Kettab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chaba Bouteflika, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
