After 11 minutes, Noureddine Nabil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United FC and the Glenview FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mokdad Saïdi-Sief took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jean-Baptiste Fergani. Manchester United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 12 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Noureddine Nabil. 13 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Mehenni came free, but Jean-Baptiste Fergani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Glenview FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Glenview FC's Mohamed Mehenni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Salim Schoonmaker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Abderrahmane Méniri. When Mokdad Saïdi-Sief came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Glenview FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mokdad Saïdi-Sief couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Glenview FC's goal looked a bit too open when Souad Kafi came free, but Hocine Souakri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Manchester United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Nabil to maneuver through the defense. When Noureddine Zidān came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Glenview FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noureddine Zidān couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Mehenni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Baptiste Fergani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Jean-Baptiste Fergani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noureddine Zidān's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Noureddine Zidān received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jean-Baptiste Fergani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salim Schoonmaker to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean-Baptiste Fergani made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Mohamed Mehenni sent off a good shot on target. Salim Schoonmaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Mohamed Mehenni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean-Baptiste Fergani. Manchester United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Mehenni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 65 minutes into the game, Maïssa Khaled was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glenview FC the free kick. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Maïssa Khaled hit a great ball. Jean-Baptiste Fergani made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mohamed Mehenni sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United FC's zone, Mohamed Mehenni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Baptiste Fergani came out of the goal and Mohamed Mehenni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Zidān in the 71st minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Jean-Baptiste Fergani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Maïssa Khaled got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Souad Kafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Noureddine Zidān got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Noureddine Zidān shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Baptiste Fergani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noureddine Zidān in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Baptiste Fergani saved Manchester United FC from getting behind. After having played for 82 minutes, Salim Schoonmaker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salim Schoonmaker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Noureddine Zidān had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manchester United FC's Jean-Baptiste Fergani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noureddine Zidān in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Baptiste Fergani saved Manchester United FC from getting behind. Abdellah Merbah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jean-Baptiste Fergani. Manchester United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Mohamed Mehenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Glenview FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Glenview FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
