Samir Kourichi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evans's Hakim Labi got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mouloud Abbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Benarbia having to interfere. The supporters of Carpentersville FC booed when Evans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thelma Kerbouche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Khelaifia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tayeb Benarbia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakim Labi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amar Cherrad hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Hakim Labi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Zahouania in the 33rd minute of play forced Evans's goalkeeper Tayeb Benarbia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tayeb Benarbia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Khelaifia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Tayeb Benarbia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noureddine Zahouania in the 37th minute of the match. Tayeb Benarbia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noureddine Zahouania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Ahmed Khelaifia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tayeb Benarbia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 46 minutes, Noureddine Zahouania made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Evans's Tayeb Benarbia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samir Kourichi to make the kick off. Salim Mammeri's late challenge caught a Carpentersville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salim Mammeri helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Evans getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Salim Mammeri hit a great ball. Ahmed Khelaifia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tayeb Benarbia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Noureddine Zahouania left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpentersville FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 60 minutes into the match, Carpentersville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Kourichi came free, but Smail Deghmani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakim Labi scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Smail Deghmani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim Labi in the 66th minute of play forced Carpentersville FC's goalkeeper Smail Deghmani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakim Labi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Smail Deghmani having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Amar Cherrad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amar Cherrad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Evans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Cavalli to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st match minute, Carpentersville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Khelaifia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carpentersville FC's zone, Samir Kourichi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Smail Deghmani came out of the goal and Samir Kourichi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Evans's zone, Noureddine Zahouania stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Benarbia came out of the goal and Noureddine Zahouania tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Evans's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Noureddine Zahouania fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carpentersville FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
