Mahieddine Soltani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Slimane El-Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noureddine Maroc's late challenge caught a Guadalupe AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hocine Cohen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Cohen in the 52nd minute of play forced Guadalupe AFC's goalkeeper Mahieddine Soltani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slimane El-Hadi in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Redha Bensaoula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yazid Madani was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, one of Tulia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tulia. Hemza Souakri shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Salim Feraoun kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Nourredine Larbes, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Noureddine Maroc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. Cheb Azem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahieddine Soltani having to interfere.
