Southlake AFC's Abdelhamid Aït Salem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Amara in the 7th minute of play. If Fawzi Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mouloud Mohand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fawzi Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amrani Gallaire having to interfere. After 28 played minutes, Amesbury FC's Salah Prévost shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdelhamid Aït Salem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amesbury FC reached it. Abdel Amara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Aït Salem having to interfere. Abdelhamid Aït Salem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdel Amara's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Adlène Bouchemla hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Southlake AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdel Amara came free, but Abdelhamid Aït Salem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Amesbury FC's Abdel Amara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdelhamid Aït Salem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With his leg Abdelhamid Aït Salem managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Amesbury FC's Rachid Baba Ali Boudiaf fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Rachid Baba Ali Boudiaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Mouloud Mohands short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Amrani Gallaire to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Amrani Gallaire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fawzi Zidane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdel Amara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Abdelhamid Aït Salem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Southlake AFC's zone, Abdel Amara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelhamid Aït Salem came out of the goal and Abdel Amara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Thelma Aziz fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amesbury FC's protests and gave Thelma Aziz a yellow card for diving instead. Thelma Aziz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Fawzi Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southlake AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fawzi Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Amesbury FC's Gilles Hanister got a free kick in the 71st minute. Fawzi Zidane received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amrani Gallaire came out and tried to block the shot, but Fawzi Zidane slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 73rd minute. Amrani Gallaire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fawzi Zidane in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salah Prévost during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute Fawzi Zidane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amrani Gallaire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Rachid Baba Ali Boudiaf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelhamid Aït Salem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amesbury FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
