After 21 minutes, Hakim Yahia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ladera Heights and the Stanwood AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Hakim Yahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Mehdi Hamouda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammad Kaci Hamrouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amar Bitat made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Hocine Hanister sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ladera Heights getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hakim Yahia hit a great ball. Ismael Hamdani struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Mohammad Kaci Hamrouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stanwood AFC. Mohammad Kaci Hamrouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Hamouda, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faouzi Daham was the one to do the kick off. Stanwood AFC's Amar Bitat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faouzi Daham in the 53rd minute of play. Mehdi Hamouda kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Faouzi Daham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amar Bitat was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Ismael Hamdani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohammad Kaci Hamrouche having to make a save. The long shot by Mohammad Aggoune in the 61st minute really tested Mohammad Kaci Hamrouche's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 64th match minute, Ladera Heights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakim Yahia to maneuver through the defense. Hocine Hanister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Bitat having to interfere. Stanwood AFC's Amar Bitat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faouzi Daham in the 74th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Faouzi Daham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stanwood AFC's Amar Bitat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ladera Heights's Hocine Hanister got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hocine Hanister came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ladera Heights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hocine Hanister couldn't finish the play. After 99 played minutes Mehdi Hamouda rounded Ladera Heights's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stanwood AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ladera Heights.
