In the 2nd minute, Bellemou Zenia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdel Karim Boniche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafik Benflis in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Amine Kader recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdel Karim Boniche. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abbotsford had won after a very even match.
