Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fordyce's Bellemou Azzizi-Kettab started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tedj Fadhil Mohamed was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abdelmalek Mimoun. If Safy Ulansi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bellemou Azzizi-Kettab in the 8th minute of play forced Homedale AFC's goalkeeper Fodil Zarabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Benmabrouk hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Safy Ulansi came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Fordyce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Safy Ulansi couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Fordyce's Safy Ulansi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodil Zarabi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Halim Hamid Brahima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodil Zarabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Bellemou Azzizi-Kettab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bellemou Azzizi-Kettab in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodil Zarabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Safy Ulansi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Zarabi having to interfere. In the 30th minute Safy Ulansi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodil Zarabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Safy Ulansi in the 32nd minute of play forced Homedale AFC's goalkeeper Fodil Zarabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Safy Ulansi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fodil Zarabi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tedj Fadhil Mohamed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahieddine Dahleb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The wind increased when Mahieddine Dahleb made the kick off in the second half. If Safy Ulansi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodil Zarabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bellemou Azzizi-Kettab, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Bellemou Azzizi-Kettab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Zarabi having to interfere. Safy Ulansi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Lakhdar Amara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tedj Fadhil Mohamed. Fordyce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lakhdar Amara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Mahieddine Dahleb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Fadhil Mohamed having to interfere. Fodil Zarabi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Safy Ulansi in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bellemou Azzizi-Kettab kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fodil Zarabi. That made the score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boudjemaa Ahmed during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mahieddine Dahleb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tedj Fadhil Mohamed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Smail Daham kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahieddine Dahleb in the 97th minute of play forced Fordyce's goalkeeper Tedj Fadhil Mohamed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Fordyce supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fordyce would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
