Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Wheat Ridge booed when Michigan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazhar Morceli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Sam made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Mustapha Ighil sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute Thelma Cavalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulhamid Kaci Said saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Michigan FC's zone, Farid Bensaoula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulhamid Kaci Said came out of the goal and Farid Bensaoula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wheat Ridge getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bellemou Amri hit a great ball. Daniel Sam was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nouredine Schoonmaker. Tayeb Amara hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Farid Bensaoula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lakhdar Zidān in the 25th minute of play forced Wheat Ridge's goalkeeper Daniel Sam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tayeb Amara fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Michigan FC's protests and gave Tayeb Amara a yellow card for diving instead. Tayeb Amara kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Wheat Ridge's goal looked a bit too open when Lakhdar Zidān came free, but Daniel Sam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Wheat Ridge's Thelma Cavalli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulhamid Kaci Said narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Sam came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Michigan FC's Mustapha Ighil. But to his dismay, Mustapha Ighil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lakhdar Zidān received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Daniel Sam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdulhamid Kaci Said took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thelma Cavalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lakhdar Zidān to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Lakhdar Zidān made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Wheat Ridge's Daniel Sam tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ali Hamid came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Wheat Ridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Hamid couldn't finish the play. Abdulhamid Kaci Said made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thelma Cavalli in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, one of Michigan FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chadli El-Hadi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. A collision led to Michigan FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lazhar Morceli hit a great ball. Farid Bensaoula kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 67thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Michigan FC's keeper Abdulhamid Kaci Said was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Mustapha Ighil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Rafik Dahar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Thelma Cavalli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulhamid Kaci Said was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. A collision led to Michigan FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tayeb Amara hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Chadli El-Hadi sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Abdulhamid Kaci Said threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Chadli El-Hadi this time. Michigan FC's Abdulhamid Kaci Said played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thelma Cavalli in the 95th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Thelma Cavalli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abdulhamid Kaci Said. The goal made the score 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Michigan FC had won after a very even match.
