Mourad Belkacem hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mishawaka FC defense, Lakhdar Zidān kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hachemi Mammeri. The Mishawaka FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hachemi Mammeri should have stopped the shot. If Lakhdar Zidān had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamid Kacha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Abdulhamid Kaci Said tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamid Kacha's late challenge caught a Michigan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamid Kacha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Hamid Kacha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Michigan FC got a freekick which was hit by Mustapha Ighil. Mohamed Belkacem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulhamid Kaci Said having to interfere. Hamid Kacha got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Abdulhamid Kaci Said handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Lakhdar Zidān had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lakhdar Zidān received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hachemi Mammeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lakhdar Zidān had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamid Kacha was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hamid Kacha notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Michigan FC's Abdulhamid Kaci Said. Abdulhamid Kaci Said was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Hamid Kacha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdulhamid Kaci Said was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 57 minutes, Mourad Belkacem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Michigan FC and the Mishawaka FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Mourad Belkacem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustapha Ighil hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Abdulhamid Kaci Said showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Boukensa in the 61st minute of the match. If Lakhdar Zidān had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michigan FC's Mustapha Ighil got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hachemi Mammeri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustapha Ighil in the 73rd minute. 80 minutes into the game, Lakhdar Zidān cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hachemi Mammeri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdulhamid Kaci Said showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Kacha in the 84th minute of the match. Ismael Boukensa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Lakhdar Zidān kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hachemi Mammeri. That made the score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Michigan FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mishawaka FC.
