Ali Bahari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Benarbia might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kamel Hadjadj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Benarbia ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kamel Temmam to strike the kick off in the second half. Abd al-Asis Oussar kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Rodeo booed when Commerce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liamine Fillali didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mohamed Benarbia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute of the match Rabah Chadl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toufik Oussalah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Toufik Oussalah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Temmam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ismael Khabatou came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Rodeo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Khabatou couldn't finish the play. After having played for 73 minutes, Mohamed Benarbia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodeo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Benarbia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Karim Messaoudi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kamel Hadjadj, 0-2. Kamel Temmam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toufik Oussalah having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamel Temmam in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toufik Oussalah saved Rodeo from getting behind. If Mohamed Benarbia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodeo's Mohamed Benarbia got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodeo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
