In the 21st minute Mustapha Zaaboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdellah Nabil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flanders's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abdelhamid Amirouche 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nabil Hima in the 30th minute of play forced Closter's goalkeeper Abdellah Nabil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelhamid Benbitour kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Flanders's Ali Aziz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelhamid Amirouche in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Flanders defense, Abdelhamid Amirouche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Aziz. The Flanders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Aziz should have stopped the shot. Ali Aziz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelhamid Amirouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Ahmed Said got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhamid Amirouche in the 42nd minute of play forced Flanders's goalkeeper Ali Aziz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustapha Zaaboub in the 44th minute of play forced Closter's goalkeeper Abdellah Nabil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nabil Hima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelhamid Amirouche was the one to do the kick off. Ali Aziz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abd al-Asis Gaouaoui in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Albert Tahar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flanders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Closter the free kick. In the 54th minute, Albert Tahar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Abdelhamid Amirouche notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Flanders's Ali Aziz. Ali Aziz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Abd al-Asis Gaouaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelhamid Amirouche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Aziz having to make a save. Abdelhamid Benbitour struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Abdellah Nabil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flanders. In the 84th minute, Mustapha Zaaboub left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flanders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Ali Aziz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelhamid Amirouche in the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Closter fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flanders had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
