Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Madjid Lemoui got the match started through his kick off. Jean-Michel Abbas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Hamid Harkat made a huge save. Abdelhamid Mansouri hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes in the game, Larbi Assad dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 11 played minutes Sunnyside got a freekick which was hit by Yasmina Teissier. Larbi Assad struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Mehdi Ziani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinton. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehdi Bouazza during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Sinton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Bouazza to maneuver through the defense. The Sinton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rabah Ouyahia made a kick off. Larbi Assad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mehdi Ziani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rabah Ouyahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sunnyside's Jean-Michel Abbas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Madjid Lemoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamid Harkat was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 85 played minutes, Sunnyside's Yazid Khendu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hamid Harkat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sunnyside reached it. Hamid Harkat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean-Michel Abbas went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Sunnyside were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sinton for a fine match.
