The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes Killeen got a freekick which was hit by Farid Khaldi. Yazid Reda Madouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Smail Djamel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yazid Reda Madouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jean Chaib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Killeen getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Farid Piaf hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cheb Belkacem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killeen's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheb Belkacem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamid Hasni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Chaib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yazid Reda Madouni in the 36th minute. Killeen's Jean Chaib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fawzi Bilal in the 37th minute of play. Smail Djamel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Hasni having to interfere. Hamid Hasni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Belkacem, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Mehdi Ziani's late challenge caught a Corpus Christi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehdi Ziani helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Killeen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corpus Christi AFC:s goal. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 46 played minutes, when Corpus Christi AFC:s Lazhar Kensi calmly waited for Killeen:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fawzi Bilal was the one to do the kick off. Hocine Bahari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Reda Madouni in the 59th minute of play forced Killeen's goalkeeper Jean Chaib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheb Belkacem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Hamid Hasni made a huge save. After 66 played minutes Corpus Christi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Bahari. Cheb Belkacem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean Chaib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yazid Reda Madouni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheb Belkacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hamid Hasni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Killeen's Smail Djamel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hamid Hasni. That made the score 1-1 after 86 minutes of play. In the 90th minute Fawzi Bilal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Chaib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yazid Reda Madouni struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jean Chaib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corpus Christi AFC. Cheb Belkacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Hamid Hasni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corpus Christi AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
