With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bouabdellah Abdessalam in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fateh Lamine saved North Arlington from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bouabdellah Abdessalam to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Abdelaziz Liegeon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Park Forest AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelaziz Liegeon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fateh Lamine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fawzi Boumedienne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fateh Lamine having to interfere.
