Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) North Arlington's Fodil Djebar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rabah Ziani's late challenge caught a North Arlington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rabah Ziani helped the player get up and apologised. Nabil Saïdi-Sief kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Yacine Ihidjaten was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cherif El-Ouafi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cherif Iles in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fateh Lamine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kasdi Boulmerka struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Fateh Lamine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temple City. Yacine Ihidjaten made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Cherif El-Ouafi sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th match minute, Temple City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rabah Ziani to maneuver through the defense. If Cherif El-Ouafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Smail Moll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Ihidjaten having to interfere. Cherif El-Ouafi came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yacine Ihidjaten could save by the left post. Temple City's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cherif El-Ouafi 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When Temple City's Cherif Iles in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Arlington's goalie prevented a goal. Cherif Iles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fateh Lamine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, North Arlington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Badis to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, Kasdi Boulmerka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fateh Lamine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Temple City's Kasdi Boulmerka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fateh Lamine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cherif El-Ouafi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Yacine Ihidjaten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes, Temple City's Nabil Saïdi-Sief shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fateh Lamine came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Temple City reached it.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kasdi Boulmerka was the one to do the kick off. When Kasdi Boulmerka came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Temple City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasdi Boulmerka couldn't finish the play. Temple City's Kasdi Boulmerka got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kasdi Boulmerka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Temple City's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasdi Boulmerka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fateh Lamine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fodil Djebar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cherif El-Ouafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Ihidjaten having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in North Arlington's zone, Cherif Iles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fateh Lamine came out of the goal and Cherif Iles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Cherif Iles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fateh Lamine was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 76th match minute, North Arlington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fodil Djebar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, North Arlington's Hamid Dahleb got a free kick in the 77th minute. Fateh Lamine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasdi Boulmerka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, North Arlington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Moll to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes, Cherif El-Ouafi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Arlington and the Temple City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fateh Lamine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasdi Boulmerka in the 82nd minute of play. Fateh Lamine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cherif Iles in the 83rd minute of play. Temple City's Yacine Ihidjaten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cherif El-Ouafi in the 87th minute of play. Cherif Iles struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Fateh Lamine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temple City. Cherif Iles in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fateh Lamine, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. North Arlington's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
