Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jean-Michel Saadane started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honesdale AFC's goalkeeper Fawzi Sellal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meziane Schoonmaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzi Sellal having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Merkel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fodil Bouziane to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Yacine Boniche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honesdale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yacine Boniche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yacine Larbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Madhi Kraouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Merkel's Hemza Hadjadj got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Mahmoud Mérah-Benida could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Madhi Kraouche however easily saved by the left post. In the 36thth minute of the game Hamza Bilal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merkel's Madhi Kraouche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yacine Boniche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meziane Schoonmaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Honesdale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Yacine Larbes. After 47 minutes, Jean-Michel Saadane made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Honesdale AFC's Fawzi Sellal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Yacine Boniche made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Toufik N'Soumer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merkel and the Honesdale AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Merkel got a freekick which was hit by Toufik N'Soumer. Honesdale AFC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Merkel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mahmoud Mérah-Benida took the corner. Yacine Boniche was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Madhi Kraouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Moussa in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Fodil Bouziane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mourad Moussa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Madhi Kraouche having to make a save. If Yacine Boniche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelmalek Brahmi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Merkel's goal looked a bit too open when Mourad Moussa came free, but Madhi Kraouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Meziane Schoonmaker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fawzi Sellal. Honesdale AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meziane Schoonmaker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Honesdale AFC booed when Merkel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamel Guessoum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yacine Boniche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yacine Boniche scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Madhi Kraouche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mourad Moussa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madhi Kraouche having to interfere.
