A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Fort Lee's Ahmed Abdenouz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fadel Saïd-Guerni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mouloud Bahari might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdelaziz Liegeon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mouloud Bahari ran back to his position shaking his head. Hocine Daham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismaïl Fellahi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Abdelaziz Liegeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Harahan getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mourad Khadra hit a great ball. If Mouloud Bahari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mouloud Bahari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Abdelaziz Liegeon made a huge save. Fort Lee's Abdelaziz Liegeon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Fort Lee from getting a goal against them. Abdelaziz Liegeon made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Mouloud Bahari sent off a good shot on target. Mouloud Bahari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mouloud Bahari got free with Abdelaziz Liegeon in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mohamed Ben Khalidi made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fort Lee's zone, Ismaïl Fellahi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelaziz Liegeon came out of the goal and Ismaïl Fellahi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Ben Khalidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Abdelaziz Liegeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hocine Daham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fadel Saïd-Guerni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Hocine Daham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fadel Saïd-Guerni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harahan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fort Lee the free kick. Abdelnasser Cixous hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Fadel Saïd-Guerni acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lakhdar Guendouz. Abdelaziz Liegeon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohamed Ben Khalidi went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Hocine Daham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Smail Lamine Kab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mouloud Bahari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Abdelaziz Liegeon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Ben Khalidi in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fort Lee players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Harahan.
