Mohamed Zeghdoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedj Harkouk in the 14th minute of play forced Ida Grove AFC's goalkeeper Nordine Zarabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Tedj Harkouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clover's supporters rose to their feet, but Tedj Harkouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nordine Zarabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Brahami hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ida Grove AFC's Nordine Zarabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Zeghdoud in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Ida Grove AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Dahleb to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Zeghdoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Nordine Zarabi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tedj Harkouk made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Clover's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Zaoui came free, but Abdel Hamid Menad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdel Hamid Menad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Camus in the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Clover's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Camus came free, but Abdel Hamid Menad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ismael Larfaoui fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clover's protests and gave Ismael Larfaoui a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Clover's Ismael Larfaoui got a free kick in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clover's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
