Mustapha Maillot started the match with the kick off. Robersonville AFC's Lakhdar Boulmerka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelhani Fergani in the 6th minute of play. Lakhdar Boulmerka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhani Fergani, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, California City FC's goalkeeper Kamel Abdelghani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdellah Hadjadj. After a rather tough play, California City FC's Mourad Soltani got a free kick in the 29th minute. Kamel Abdelghani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abdellah Hadjadj showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelhani Fergani to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Farid Haddou during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to California City FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Farid Haddou hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Mustapha Maillot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustapha Maillot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kamel Abdelghani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoheir Benbitour charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoheir Benbitour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zoheir Benbitour hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ismaël Boniche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhani Fergani in the 72nd minute of play forced Robersonville AFC's goalkeeper Lakhdar Boulmerka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Robersonville AFC's goalkeeper Lakhdar Boulmerka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 79 played minutes California City FC got a freekick which was hit by Khalida Prévost. In the 80th minute of the match Abdelhani Nekkar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kamel Abdelghani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. California City FC's Ismaël Boniche came free and shot a quick shot against goal 81 minutes in the game, fortunately Lakhdar Boulmerka had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 89th minute, one of Robersonville AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Robersonville AFC. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, California City FC's Khalida Prévost got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lakhdar Boulmerka. Abdellah Hadjadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kamel Abdelghani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustapha Maillot in the 98th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
