Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zīn ud-Dīn Allalou took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fodil Abdessalam kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Chadli Drid's late challenge caught a Gillespie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chadli Drid helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fairport Harbor FC's Chadli Drid got a free kick in the 7th minute. Mahmoud Mouzaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cheb Haddou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheb Haddou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahmoud Mouzaoui in the 15th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Djamal Boutella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairport Harbor FC and the Gillespie players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Fairport Harbor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djamal Boutella to maneuver through the defense. Souad Allalou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Said Djeballi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Fairport Harbor FC's Said Djeballi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zīn ud-Dīn Allalou in the 23rd minute of play. Zīn ud-Dīn Allalou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amar Piaf took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cheb Haddou. Cheb Haddou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fairport Harbor FC's Amar Piaf got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amar Piaf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahmoud Mouzaoui got free with Cheb Haddou in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gillespie's goalkeeper Cheb Haddou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Chadli Drid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gillespie getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mahieddine Teissier hit a great ball. Amar Piaf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zīn ud-Dīn Allalou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Djeballi having to interfere. Abderaouf Nasro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Said Djeballi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodil Madjer hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Fairport Harbor FC's Said Djeballi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderaouf Nasro in the 74th minute of play. Mahmoud Mouzaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheb Haddou having to interfere. Amar Piaf struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cheb Haddou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fairport Harbor FC. After 83 minutes, Mahieddine Teissier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gillespie and the Fairport Harbor FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Gillespie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahieddine Teissier to maneuver through the defense. Cheb Haddou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amar Piaf's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. A collision led to Fairport Harbor FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kateb Mamouni hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Souad Allalou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Said Djeballi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abderaouf Nasro in the 95th minute of play. The Gillespie supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fairport Harbor FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Fairport Harbor FC.
