Ahmed Belloumi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayeb Benhamou in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Rachid Zidane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Habra Heights's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lincroft the free kick. A collision led to La Habra Heights getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rachid Zidane hit a great ball. After some careless play in the La Habra Heights defense, Hameur Khaled kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferhat Ibrir. The La Habra Heights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferhat Ibrir should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Hameur Khaled's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferhat Ibrir was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 31st match minute, Lincroft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Bouzid to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lincroft's Ahmed Belloumi got control of the ball when Rachid Zidane tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Tayeb Benhamou fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hameur Khaled made a kick off. Rachid Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ahmed Belloumi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferhat Ibrir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheb Tahar went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayeb Benhamou in the 72nd minute of play forced Lincroft's goalkeeper Ahmed Belloumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cheb Tahar came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Lincroft fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheb Tahar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Lincroft's Yasmina Boulebda got a free kick in the 75th minute. La Habra Heights's Tayeb Benhamou got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Tayeb Benhamou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Habra Heights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tayeb Benhamou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, La Habra Heights's Rachid Zidane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmed Belloumi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tayeb Benhamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lincroft's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Knodi Harkouk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
