Abd al-Asis El-Hadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Haslett AFC's Bendjedid Heddou got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Djamal Fergani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamid Morceli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krim Medjani in the 29th minute of play forced Haslett AFC's goalkeeper Boudjemaa Zitouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Haslett AFC's Tedj Kourichi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krim Medjani in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boudjemaa Zitouni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Haslett AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
